Join the Choir at Our Open Evening 10/02/10
The Choir has an Open Evening for prospective new members on
Wednesday 10 February in Ewell.
Join us in rehearsing a
couple of new numbers from 8-10 p.m. at Ewell United Reformed Church
Hall, and hear some songs from our concert repertoire.
You can chat with members of the Choir during the mid-evening
refreshments break.
The 50 members of the
Choir sing a wide range of music, from traditional male voice favourites
to light classical and arrangements of more recent pop classics from the
likes of Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley and the Four Seasons.
There are no auditions
and it is not necessary to be able to read music. All that
matters is that you want to sing (and are a man!). The key aim is to
enjoy making music and the company of others with the same interest.
Just come along and try
it!
The Hall is at the rear
of the United Reform Church in London Road, Ewell KT17 2BB, (CLICK
for map) behind the Honda garage and Shell station on the Ewell
Bypass (junction A24 and A240 - The Organ Inn crossroads).
It is just ten minutes'
walk from Ewell West station and there is free car parking in front of
the church and in London Road.
