Welcome to the Epsom Male Voice Choir Website. The Choir has been singing for 34 years and is one of the leading men’s choirs in the South East, drawing members from a large area.
We have sung at a wide range of venues including the Albert Hall, Epsom Racecourse, the Royal Festival Hall, Fairfield Halls and many others. We sing the traditional Male Voice Choir repertoire together with modern popular classics, opera and arrangements of favourite rock and folk numbers.
Performances are held throughout the year, and rehearsals are held in the United Reformed Church Hall, London Road, Ewell, Surrey on Wednesday evenings at 8.00 pm.
New members are always welcome. Check the linked page for more information or come along and have a sing with us any Wednesday evening. You are assured of a very warm welcome. No knowledge of music or prior experience is needed – just enthusiasm and an enjoyment of choral singing.
To book the Choir, contact us by email or phone details are on our Contacts page. Online videos of the choir in action can be found on the linked Videos page. You can also find a performance video of recent photos of the choir at concerts and social events here. Our Facebook page is here. Find us on Twitter here.
In May 2015, the Choir opened the Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival at Truro Cathedral – see more on our History and Gallery pages. This performance saw the World Choral Premiere of “Crossing the Bar” – winner of the Festival’s Composers’ Competition for our Musical Director, Ian Assersohn, in 2014.
In June 2016, we performed with several other choirs at the Epsom International Choir Festival and in April 2017, once more performed at the Cornwall IMVC Festival. In October 2017, we sang in the Brighton International Male Choir Festival, and placed a creditable fourth in the inter-choir choral competition.
